What to consider before treatment?
Before your treatment, it is important to follow these guidelines to ensure a safe and effective outcome:
- Avoid blood-thinning medications and supplements 3-7 days before treatment.
This reduces the risk of bruising. - Refrain from alcohol 24 hours before treatment, as it may increase the risk of swelling and bruising.
- Inform about health problems and medication: Tell the practitioner about ongoing medications, illnesses or allergies, including muscular or neurological diseases and bleeding disorders.
- Not having an infection, fever or feeling sick: If you feel sick, treatment should be postponed. (Mild sniffles are okay though.)
- No acne or rash at the injection site: The skin in the treatment area should be free of irritation or active eruptions.
- Not having a herpes infection: The treatment should not be performed if you have an ongoing herpes infection, whether in the body or in the treatment area.
- Not pregnant or breastfeeding: Treatment is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- Come without make-up: Clean your skin before treatment to minimize the risk of infection.
- Plan the right time: Avoid booking the treatment just before important events when minor bruising may occur.

To optimize the results and minimize the risk of side effects, you should consider the following after treatment:
- Avoid physical activity such as exercise, jogging or yoga for the first 24 hours.
- Stay upright for at least 4 hours after treatment and avoid lying down or bending over.
- Do not touch the treatment areas: Do not rub or massage the face for the first 24 hours.
- Avoid heat and saunas: Refrain from saunas, hot baths, solariums and strong sun exposure for 24-48 hours.
- Wait at least 12 hours before applying makeup to avoid irritation.
- Be patient with the result: the effect develops gradually and reaches its peak after about two weeks.

For repeat treatments conducted more than six months after your last session, a new consultation is mandatory; however, no additional reflection period will be required.
