The muscle relaxant treatment involves injecting a small dose of muscle relaxant medicine with thin needles into the muscles responsible for wrinkles. The medicine blocks the nerve signals to the muscles and leads to reduced/absent activity. When the muscles cannot contract as strongly, the skin is smoothed and the wrinkles become less prominent as the wrinkles have a chance to heal. The effect of such a treatment usually lasts for several months, and the treatment can be repeated if necessary to maintain the results.

NOTE! Blood thinners can make it easier for bruising to occur in the injection area.
What to consider after treatment?
- Do not perform peeling or facial massage on the same day.
- Do not train on the same day.
- Do not apply make-up or touch the treated area for 6 hours after treatment.
- Do not build on the same day.
- Do not lie down for the first 4 hours after treatment.
It can take around 1-2 weeks for the effects of the treatment to take hold and for you to see the final results of your treatment. Immediately after treatment, the treatment area may become slightly red and/or swollen. Sometimes there may be an occasional bruise. The discomfort is temporary and normally disappears on its own within a few days.

You can book a free video consultation by clicking here. It is also possible to book an on-site consultation for SEK 300.
If you have not previously attended a consultation for aesthetic injection treatments, it is required by law to book one. After receiving information during the consultation, a mandatory reflection period of at least two days must pass before the treatment can be performed.
For repeat treatments conducted more than six months after the previous consultation, a new consultation is required; however, no additional reflection period will be necessary.
Is the Treatment Permanent?
No, the effects of muscle relaxant treatment are not permanent. Results typically last for 3–6 months, depending on individual factors such as metabolism and lifestyle.
How Long Does It Take to See Results?
The effect of muscle relaxant treatment usually starts to be seen within 2-5 days, and the full effect is achieved after about 14 days.
Can I Return to My Normal Activities After the Treatment?
Yes, in most cases you can return to your normal activities immediately after a wrinkle treatment. The procedure requires little to no downtime; however, there are some important guidelines to follow to optimize your results:
What to Avoid After Treatment:
Alcohol consumption: Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours, as it can affect blood circulation and increase the risk of bruising.
Intense physical activity: Refrain from exercise or strenuous activities for at least 24 hours.
Touching the treated area: Avoid massaging or touching the area to prevent the product from spreading.
Saunas and heat exposure: Avoid saunas, hot baths, and direct sun exposure for the first 48 hours.
When Can I Schedule a Follow-Up?
A follow-up appointment is included and should be scheduled 14–18 days after the treatment to ensure that the results are optimal.
